Webb12 apr. 2024 · As an extension of probability theory, Dempster-Shafer (D-S) evidence theory offers a number of advantages. Compared to classical Bayesian analysis, D-S theory requires fewer conditions. Without prior probability, D-S theory could be more effective in uncertain circumstances. Webb22 mars 2024 · Abstract The paper is concerned with integrability of the Fourier sine transform function when f ∈ BV 0 (ℝ), where BV 0 (ℝ) is the space of bounded variation functions vanishing at infinity. It is shown that for the Fourier sine transform function of f to be integrable in the Henstock-Kurzweil sense, it is necessary that f/x ∈ L1 (ℝ).

Webb31 okt. 2024 · It provides a concise introduction that covers all of the measure theory and probability most useful for statisticians, including Lebesgue integration, limit theorems in probability, martingales, and some theory of stochastic processes. Readers can test their understanding of the material through the 300 exercises provided. Webb12 apr. 2024 · In this paper, we first establish a Kesten-type inequality for randomly weighted sums, in which the primary random variables are assumed to be real-valued and subexponential following a general dependence structure proposed by J.
