Web28 de ago. de 2024 · Like someone else said, it probably sounds weird to you because the original song is a half step down, so every note is too high but you’re focusing on the high E because it’s the highest note being played. The ‘tinny’ sound comes from you not fretting all the way, and wasn’t a big problem in this clip.

Web10 de dez. de 2004 · Everything that's been suggested so far is a possible cause of buzzing , but if it's from the fifth upward it's less likely to be a problem with the nut or string trees. Dressing the bridge saddle is a good one to try - assuming the string sits in the centre of it in the first place and hasn't moved over to touch the height-adjusting allen screw. If you have no distance between the string and fret 1 that’ll be the cause.
