Scope up the ureter, etc. it was a “permanent“ stone that I’ve had for years, but had gotten big enough that the doc wanted to finally remove it. After I woke up from the anesthesia, the doc told me that he didn’t remove the stone. She is having to get up 6-8 times in the night to go to the bathroom, and then she's never sure when she's going and when she has stopped.
